Im going to be using the gm ecu to control most engine functions, and the factory audi ecu to run the dash. Luckily the stock audi motor runs on a 60-2 crank trigger which is the same as 58x. To piggyback off the 24x sensor, ill need a 24x to 58x converter.

Pretty excited about this. Just saw a puff of blue smoke on a cold start the other day on my 06 s4. Don't wanna rebuild that pos so was thinking an ls swap would be great. Actually get some decent power into that pig. Do well man I'm rooting for you.

The other Audi in post #12 is an RS6. He caught hell for taking out the TT V-8 out of it. However the LS made more power. Lol. It burned pretty bad not too long ago but he was building it again.
Love seeing this stuff. I had a V-10 S6 and it just got boring after awhile. Wanted to buy a new S7 but just couldn't void the warranty on a 90K car. Bought a Mustang and voided the warranty the day I got it. However I can replace a Mustang motor or trans for 4K or less. Audi starts at 15K.
Look forward to seeing the progress.

I know Lingenfelter makes a 58x to 24x converter box, but I don't think there is a 24x to 58x converter box out there. It might be easier to go with a Gen IV engine which already has the 58x trigger built in

Any further progress? I plan to do this also but am going to retain the awd with a custom bell housing on an O1E. That is the plan at least. I am hoping you get the electronics sorted as it would be awesome to run like it was made to be there.

The motor mounts are cx racing lsx to 350z chassis with a spacer on the drivers side. Ill figure out where the oil pump will mount once i mount the turbos. Im thinking ill have the return spray into both valve covers
