Default 80lb injectors for 6-700whp(e85?)

As the title states will 80lb injectors supply enough fuel for 6-700whp using e85?

Injectors are going on another junkyard 5.3 with a cam n'springs and a T78. Gonna through a 75-100shot along with it through a plate and would like to see 7xxwhp+ with the huff.

On e85? What psi and turbo? 900whp seems a lot for just two 255s and 80s

I am hoping for 600 with 2 255's, 80lb injectors, and stock lines with E85.

I got 72# injectors and my car was tuned on 40psi base pressure.....thought they would up it but guess not lol....and I'm making 600whp on e85 so 80# on 60psi base I would think would take you to 700whp..

That seems like a ton of HP 900 to the wheels with 85 I'm surprised the injectors can handle that......

It's all about your fuel pressure.

I made 640hp with 80# injectors and stock feed line. I'm sure it's capable of supporting more!

depending on how rich you run the car, the 80's will get you just at or under 800 rwhp on e85

I trapped 142 last night on e85 with a 2900# car. This was with a 485 Walbro pump -10 feed and 80# injectors. Base pressure was at 55psi. We were getting close to maxing them at that pressure so we will be upping that this week.

Bumping and old thread

I dynoed today tuner said I was out of Injector on e85

Fox body
4.8
Th400
Tu1 cam
Dual external walbros
-8 fuel line
Aeromotove afpr
46 psi base FP
TC78 on 15lbs

Tires were spinning on the dyno even with people on the trunk

Made 567/489

Not sure how much a TH400 robs over a manual tranny but I was hoping to hit 650 on the 80's

Only running a 2bar map so that's why we stopped at 15lbs and he mentioned the DC was creeping up there.

Comments ? I know xyz person on here has made more than I did but at what base fuel pressure ?

I'd like to make 650 with a 3 bar map around 20psi without having to buy more fuel pump and Injector.
