dont worry about the IC, run e-85 and get the tune right, itll be fine, I just recently put on an intercooler and it didnt help with the et all that much. Kinda bummed but it is what it is. live and learn

I have no e85 experience and I'm honestly surprised that with 215 iats ran good without detonation. Proves i need to do some more e85 research lol. I'm used to 93 octane and iats less than 130

I think there is a ton of room for air to water coolers in the car. We worked on one last year and it was a very fun project. We built a 500whp NA 351 cleveland for it though. I kept looking in the engine compartment and dreaming of a turbo LS in there!

Why? IMO that would be a waste of money with the hp he is running.

Spend a few hundred bucks on an A/W intercooler and make your engine happier.

I would start with e85 and no intercooler and see where that gets you.

It's nbd to add one if you don't like running without one.

2 Bosch 044's hand down ,great pumps for the price. I'm running two in mine. -10 feeds. No dramas. My buddy's running same setup in 600hp 383 turbo ls. pump fuel on both setups though.

I was just talking about wanting to build one of these, but finding one for a reasonable price is toughlol. I chose to do a a2w intercooler on my e85 build, but to each their own. You can fit heat exchangers in some crazy places with a fan and have them still work.

E85 acts as a chemical intercooler. U can't trust what your iat sensors say because the e85 is sprayed after the sensor. Carb guys go wo ic all the time. I have a friend that's over 1500 whp in a 540 bbc tt and NO intercooler. In his case the carb and intake act as a ic. I went with one because I plan on road racing as well.
