Great numbers man, can't wait to see that 8 second pass! You deserve it with all the work you put in the car!

Thanks guys! When i go back out again, i'm going to try it out on the 17psi setting i ran the 9.06 @ 149 on and see how much of a difference the tune made. I'd think that alone should be enough to put me in the 8's if i can get the same 1.34 on the DR's. I've been a 1.37 n/a on this tire but also a 1.29 on the slick on a day when the track had more bite. It still blows me away that i could reach the 8's on just 17psi.

also we'll see how much the 1.23ar housing affects things vs the .96ar the last time out but it didn't seem to mind it much on the dyno or seat of the pants when i took it out yesterday and hit it on the street with the full 22psi to show my gf what it feels like. LOL She about pee'd and puked at the same time!! haha she made me promise not to do it again with her in the car!

Thanks blackpanther99!!

yea i did rob but i couldn't find any pump E85 cuz it's all been switched to winter blend and i wasn't about to miss my dyno appt so i went this route instead. They both have their ups and downs but i'm happy with it and glad i can just fill up and keep driving when i'm out cruising vs looking for a station with E85 and hoping it's good/testing it each time.

Thanks Boo"SS"t!

Yea i was pleasantly surprised by them with the 317 heads and blower spec cam! I'd like to see what it would do with some better heads, a properly spec'd turbo cam and another 5psi or so! lol I'll be there, just not much. Again, i built this car to enjoy on the street first and the track second, regardless of the parts i chose to use. The drivability is sooooooo much better now with it tuned!! It's absolutely night and day!

I see your using a stock shifter on your th400?
Can you show me how you did it?
What brackets did you make or buy?
Is your RMVB?

Also where is your trans cooler mounted?

What injectors are you using now since your no longer e85?

use 2 pcms or only 1? then up the boost on 100?

I don't have any pics as a friend of mine set the shifter up but it's basically a matter of notching the gates a little with a die grinder and welding in a tab to prevent the shifter from going past the '2' which is 3rd gear on my RMVB. This is done to prevent over extending the shift and damaging something. He'd be able to explain it better but i got the idea from here on tech. There's a number of guys who did it. Love the stock look of it and no brackets were needed. It's a stock shifter, just bolts right in.

Cooler is mounted under the car on the passenger side. Seen a lot of guys put it there and it fits very well.

Still using the Bosch 160 high imp injectors.

1 pcm. Tuned up to 11psi on the 93 and switched over to 110 beyond that.

Also just made a simple modification to the stock shifter cable bracket on the trans.

I've been told it works well here for most but others have had to add a small air dam to funnel air through it so i got a derale with a 550cfm fan on it just to play it safe. I'll see how it works in the heat and go from there.

I have seen a few people what the transmission coolers under the passenger seat the real sleek design fits well and it's awesome because you can run short lines and know exactly where the leak is when it leaks.
Only thing is u will need a fan because of lack of airflow

Some people even mount under the t top well for cooling.

Yea that was a location i had thought about too. The only pita part of this location was i didn't realize there was such a huge gap between the 2 layers of the floor. Be sure to have long enough bolts to go through it all if you put it there as well boosted firehawk.

And the car doesn't have a leak of any kind though thankfully.

Air! lol unless i have issues, thats all i plan to use is the A2A IC. The tune isn't set on kill or anywhere near being on the ragged edge. My tuner (Jim) at Speed Inc knew i drive the car way more than track it so there was no reason to push it to it's limits.

That will always be debatable lol basically either a street car with a ton of drag parts & power or a drag car that's driven on the street regularly in fair weather lol

And got to thinking, if the AIT's are too high, i'd rather spend the money on an E85 tune vs buying a meth kit. By the time i have to worry about them, E85 will be E85 again and i wont have the issue of not being able to find it again.
