tune it for the most part. It's gonna be at NLR to get some T&T in between the rounds of meltdown so the track should be kickin ***! Only gonna make 1/8 mile passes due to a few things. The main reason is concern that if it pushes water, we dont know how well those flex hoses are clamped and don't wanna risk it poppin off on the big end. plus the car only has a 6pt in it and no chute yet. Phil raised some great points and there's no point in risking it all. Plus it's still got 3.70's in it vs the 3.25's we need to go with. I hope to get a few things done over the winter to make it safer before we go much faster.

My buddy had 3.90 gears with a 26" tire and hit limiter about 100' from the line. With your 3.70's and a 28" tire you may be ok crossing the line at peak hp rpm range? I know turbo cars use low gears but when I read specs on 7 sec cars and what-not they got 3.73 gears in them. I'd give it a shot for ***** n giggles n see how it works.

well Phil got it out this morning on dry pavement and at WOT it's going super lean and he's not sure why. Hoping it gets figured out and we can get some decent 1/8th mile testing in and a little of the tuning in.

9.70 @ 141.52 off the trailer, first pass.
Pretty much a base tune, stumbled right after launch, ran it on the 9# W/G springs and 3.70 gear. Not sure on RW but figure about 3400 lbs. That was the only pass we got in due to the track being crazy busy and too many wrecks. Good news is we went home in 1 piece!
Didn't really get to tune it at all but hope to get it to Speed Inc soon. Gotta check funds lol

That's the plan! that and some 3.25's and a chute and update the cage. those are the winter plans if i can swing it. Cage may have to wait i think. but, it's by No means a dedicated track car. it sees more cruising than anything.

Thanks guys! we're pretty satisfied with that for a first run with as little as we did with it. I don't even know what the shocks were set up at let alone the timing & actual afr. lol There's certainly a lot of potential and 8's are a Speed Inc tune and gear swap away for the most part.

Looking forward to THAT!!

It was run off the 9# springs and Phil said that he felt no boost creep so we'll say right around 9psi. Looks like a low 9.5x or even a 9.4 is possible on the current level with a tune, no stumble and leaving harder and judging by the current mph. If so that will exceed my hopes on low boost as my hope was 9.5x on 12 lbs.
