Wow you have a lot left on the table then.

Send me a PM with your email address in it and I will send you a reply with my camshaft inquiry form for you to fill out to make sure you get the proper cam for your application.

This is another thing I do that I only see guys like Pat G, Ed Curtis, Brian Tooley etc. doing when it comes to getting every bit of information possible before saying, "Here this will work great because joe schmo said it worked great in his car that is nothing like yours!"

I promise to take the time and study your exact set-up to get the best possible set of valve events and lobes for the task at hand.

In short this gentleman was having trouble getting his F1X combination to perform the way he wanted.

With just a cam swap from a cam comp had specified and sold him to my custom cam he gained 125rwhp with 3psi less(15psi) than he made his highest numbers before which were on 18psi.

It was making so much more power and the engine was so much more efficient that it ran out of fuel pump at 6200rpm! His blower pulleys are set-up to make 18psi at 6800rpm, so I would think that when this thing hits 18psi it's going to gain at least another 50-75rwhp if not 100rwhp more than what it's already made over the old cam.

That's a 200+ rwhp gain from a cam swap!!!
Nice results Martin! What cam did you spec for this combo?

Sent you a PM star. Don't want to give out the specs openly without asking the customer first. If he doesn't mind I don't mind.

What cubic inches? What intake manifold? What compression? Cylinder heads? Manual? Automatic/stall rpm? Rear gear?

The stage 3 would probably be more suited towards what you need or I could do a custom profile.

Our cam/spring/push rod package is 689.99 and that includes Brian Tooley Racing springs either Max Pressure or Platinum and Manley .080" wall 5/16" diameter push rods! That's about 50 dollars cheaper than the competitions package!

It's a 5.3l/A4, performer rpm intake with 90mm tb, 9.5:1 comp, I think they”re 709 heads. 3600 stall and 3.55 gears. I might do a forged 347 later down the road.

I would prefer a custom profile for your set-up if that is what it consists of.

I plan on expanding the line of Elite Series Turbo Camshafts this fall/winter after the LS3, LS7, LS9, Carb/Single plane camshafts come out.

The expansion will include larger stroker motor turbo and blower profiles, a couple twin turbo profiles, and expanding the N/A line of Elite Series Camshafts to include stroker profiles for all LS cylinder heads.

Hey Martin, I ordered your springs Monday morning and received them this morning. That's fast shipping to get to wisconsin. Very impressive. I'll give you a call within the week to spec a cam for me.

I'm going to do a turbo set up but plan on building the motor first. How would the stage 2 do running in a 5.7 n/a with full boltons for awhile

Thank you very much for the kind words. That's what you get when you have a "high octane" shipping department!

It would do OK, but it won't be anything to brag home about.

Martin is a real pleasure to deal with and VERY knowledgeable guy! I am very excited to receive the custom grind Martin did for our shop Twin Turbo set-up.
What impressed me the most was Martin's willingness to make sure he knew everything necessary to get the absolute best specs for the build. Also his explanations as to why he chose such specs after the matter was very nice.

Martin is the man!

Thanks for the kind words Jason, as always you're a huge help to me when I need to bounce ideas off someone.

Now when are we going to collaborate on that new turbo cam for your car?

I just got a lq4 06 plan on running race gas and setting on kill jy motor.

Plan on doing head studs, gaskets, springs , pushrods, cam...

Car will be a auto and looking at 80-88mm turbo. What can would you recommend?

Any cam pushrod valve spring packages for this?

We have a cam package that includes Brian Tooley dual valve springs, Manley hardened push rods and an Elite Series Camshaft for 689.99.

I would recommend either of these two cams:
