Indoor plumbing FTW! It is pretty crappy though (pun intended). We have now paid almost $4000 this year to spetic companies, gotten ripped off twice and spent enough to have replaced all the field lines. Had we called the right people the first time I could have saved $3000 and been long done with the car.

Hey looking at the way you have your radiator mounted...did you end up cutting the upper support and replacing it? Hard to tell in the picture. Any chance you could snap a couple pictures of the radiator mount on the top and bottom if you get a minute?

yeah we cut the upper support out and put 3/4" tubing across and on the bottom we cut the factory radiator support out and made a tubular one out of 1.25" tubing. It moved the radiator forward about 1.5". Ill post some pics when I get home tomorrow.

if you look at post 35 pics you can see the upper tube the square thing across the top is just a temporary radiator hold down that we made

Yeah I saw that, was wondering if that was a permanent mount. I am doing the same on mine, although I have not cut the bottom yet. I am just planning to put the radiator in front of the core support.

we cut the bottom out on mine because the factory one was bent, it really cleans it up having a lower tubular support

Had a chance to work on the car a little today I ran my oil return and supply lines and put some new smoked headlights in.

I ended up selling car half way threw the build but I bought it back last night. The car is up and running, but #7 cylinder is weak, so time to put a 6.0 in it.

lol. That is just kind of funny. How much more than you sold it for did you have to pay for it? At this point of frustration (parts were not agreeing with me today) I would almost pay to have it up and running!

I gave him 2500 more than I sold it for, but it was worth every penny. It actually drives so good with the 308 gears it rolls down the highway. The tune on the car is off but I rolled down on it a little today and I ran it up to 10lbs and it felt pretty good

Have any of you guys had blow buy problems, my 5.3 was gapped to .028 on top and .032 on the bottom it has no pcv system on it at all and when you pull up to a stop light , it will puff a little smoke from under the hood. It has a ls6 valley pan on it with nothing hooked to it and it doesn't really push any oil out of it, you just get the random smell of oil.

Mine has nothing hooked up currently and it will have little wisps of smoke coming out. I plan on installing my Mighty Mouse pcv catch can though. Still not sure exactly where I am going to mount or run it, but that is the plan.
