Do I need meth with E85............18psi
You set up the tune to where it only changes the fueling and timing when it sees the drop in inlet air temp. If it doesn't see the drop, ie meth failure, then it stays on the no meth fueling and timing.

I'm making a water mist system to put in front of the FMIC. I push a button and 3 misters release water mist over the entire front surface area of the FMIC. I'm thinking that'll drop temps quite a bit. My car will be the test car for my little product. It'll use the windshield washer fluid tank......thats enough for about 3 hours of sustained use. The little pump is only 2 pounds. Just a little product me and a friend are gonna build and test. Maybe with a puller fan on the back of the FMIC that comes on with the water mist.

Verdad Gallardo Meth drops the iat's. When the iat sensor sees the drop then you tune it to pull fuel and add timing. If the meth doesnt kick on then the iat's stay high and the fueling and timing isn't modified. I tune first on no meth, then in the iat modifers I configure it to add timing and pull fuel when the methanol drops the iat temp. Hope this helps. Also, with e85 you wont see the reduced iat's on the sensor, because the injectors are after it. You still have a cooler inlet temp at the intake valve, but there is no way to record it.
Do you have to have it? No, would it be nice to have it? Yes, it will only add more octane to the combustion charge which has never hurt anything.
I'd run at least a GT88 or GT91 with the 97mm turbine and I'd also look at the GT5018 with it's 98mm turbine. I also wouldn't be afraid of a S588.
