STOCK 5.3 for now, with some very highly hand ported 241.
I tore the engine down honed the cylinders, gap the rings to .023, put king bearings in it(I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE HOW THE KING BEARINGS WOULD PERFORM)
stock rockers, 06 ls2 cam, prc 660 springs, harden push rods, ls9 gaskets, ebay head studs and arp main studs, I also did sum mods to the block for the thrust bearing for pressurized oil, (TRIAL AND ERROR ON THIS) (we will see)
I have been a die hard procharger guy for about 10years and this is my first turbo build, if this one pops $1k no big deal, with my forged engine the crank alone cost 1800 i would be a little upset if it popped right away.

yes the 325 look sexy as hell on the car.
I have three set sets of tires and wheels 325 50, 275 60, and a set of 26 10.5 hossier slicks, going to get the car to work on the radials then set the car up for slicks

the slicks look the best on the car as in they do not look like a balloon on the back of the car, the radials came with wheels so ill burn them up testing the car

those are 200 14" the shock was fully compressed in that pic, I did not have the spring crank all the way up in that pic, if it was a drag only car, may be able to crank the 200lbs springs up enough to get them to work but no for a street car

Lovin the build man! Just a couple of questions:

Did your alternator end up fitting in the stock location with the 3 bolt flanges cut off of the manifolds?
Did you have any pics of the cuts you made to the inner rear fenders? I am looking to run the 325 mickeys as well, and would like to see all that was done by you.

Good luck on finishing it up, I am subscrubed!

yes the alternator does fit in stock location with the vband welded to the stock 6.0 manifolds.
you need a big hammer!!!!
you need to cut the factory bump stop mounts off and cut the lower front part of the inner finder off basically right under the floor pan of the car.
I will get some pics tonight for the guys asking for them.

I have the right offset for the narrowed rear end and with them tucked as close to the inner fender as possible they will hit the outer finder lips if you dont make new bump stops.
I have coil overs on the rear with stops built on to the shocks
