Stock bottom end early year LQ4, Speed Inc. TU1, Turbonetics 7875 1.15 ar, JGS 40mm wastegate, stock 4L80e with HD2, Circle D 3500, 3.23 10 bolt that leaks and whines, E85. I was on 295/55/15 ET Street Radials that are on my 17/15 Dark Star combo.

I was on spring pressure only going through my exhaust. Log showed 10-11 psi, 1-2 shift happened at 5300 trying to keep from spinning and I never went above 60% TPS in 1st gear. I tried turning it up a bit on the last pass but blew the tires off and ran a 12.0 @ 137. Needless to say, I am damn happy!

What kind of times and power are you guys making on the 7675/7875s? I have a TC76 and am thinking this might be a worthwhile upgrade even at the same boost levels to help the motor breath a little better. Considering it's basically direct replacement for the TC76 the choice seems easy.

Times and power is quite dependent upon the rest of the vehicle and engines set-up, however these turbos are a HUGE improvement over the TC-series with the small turbine wheels. Our customers that are making this exact same switch have noticed a big increase in power and how hard the power comes on at the same boost levels even! These will give you much more room to grow with peak power potential, and well as allow you to spin the engine much higher without the power falling off like it does with the smaller turbine wheels!

I will chime in and mention that I have a 03 Silverado SS and swapped to a 7675 in april. I have ran 11.8's so far @ 113. With plenty more left in it.

How come you have not posted any dyno graphs showing how the new 75mm turbine out flows the smaller wheel?? Did these turbos in fact not make any more power? With the same commpressor size?

Who is this question for?

We do not have a dyno in house, nor a back to back comparison up to post. However we have these turbos on SEVERAL cars now with noticeable gains in power at the same PSI levels as well as drastic reduction in drive pressure from smaller turbine wheel'd turbos.

If you read back through this thread you will find other customers as well very impressed with the switch from smaller turbine wheel'd turbos to these
