Can I ask you something? How come when the 7575 came out it was a 7675? I know this one is the billet wheel, but did they actually reduce the size from the early models or was it a bit undersized even back then?

It has always been 75.xx mm. Now with both billet and cast I believe they call it 75 to easier differentiate between the 2. In the past I suppose they rounded up and now down.

Any back to back comparison of these turbos vs the older TC units or vs the Precision 7675?

No back to back tests yet that we have heard of, however we have seen very similar results out of them in comparison to the Precision 7675 on customer's car. Also we have had a few customers switch from the TC76 or TC78 to these and comment on a noticeable improvement reducing their back pressure and making more power and the same boost levels. Also allows them to pull higher into the RPM range without the power curling over.

A back to back test would be nice, but alone these units have been putting down some very good numbers!

They definitely move some airflow. I went from a tc76 to a 7875 1.15 and due to a stuck Chinese wastegate found out it will make about 23-24psi at 6200 rpm on a 5.3 was seeing 75 %idc on id2ks on e85 at 52 psi base pressure with a 6.6 afr.
