My goal is really only about 480hp to start on stock tranny so hopefully it will last awhile, but once the built tranny goes in I'd like to up it to around 530 or so. And I'm also already good on fuel system cuz I have the Racetronix pump with hotwire wich is good to 600rwhp +.
I'd get a fuel pressure gauge at least. And a good option for a boost gauge would be a eboost2. It's a boost controller as well as a boost gauge to turn up the power when you want to. Autometer gauges are suppose to be good as well as aem

I wasn't planning on getting a boost controller for awhile cuz those are pretty pricey, but I guess that would save money not having to buy a boost gauge right?

Im just stocking for my build for now.

Im going to use a tnetics 7875
Researching for bovs and WG's
Dont know wether to use a pyrometer or AFR wideband
Undecided on a 370 or 402 with 317 heads.
Need to downgrade my ten bolt ,I have 410's
I am shooting for a realist, managable power build.

That's the same one I plan to use. I have a lot of reading to do though. I still get wrap my head around how you turn up the boost without changing your tune

370 is the winner!

Looking at the new 7875/7675 turbos and since I've never had any experience with turbo cars, I'd like to ask you what do you think about the performance difference between 7875 vs 7675, lag, max power and powerbands? I personally think .96 A/R would be better for us guys that have a 346/347 + 6 speed cars but correct me if I'm wrong, just looking to have a car with a wide turbo operating range

Very little difference! The 78mm compressor wheel will move a touch more air, but spool should be very similar! I would personally put it on a 1.15 a/r on anything 5.7L or above!

Quick question. Is there any reason why some are dumping their 5.7s for 5.3s?? Just wondering

I am not sure why other than the 5.3s can be had very cheap and seem to be performing well with boost. Not that your 5.7l wouldn't of course!

I figured it had something to do with price and their numbers/performance on boost but I was curious if their were any other particular reasons. I don't plan on getting rid of my 5.7 lol. Will either go with a forged 347 or 370 when funds permit. Thanks for the reply!

Price for the most part. My stock long block will pay for my 5.3 set up plus some. Plus if it pops ohh well. I wont be afraid to turn up the boost.
