Detailed Info on twin turbo setups, especially pictures!
Next years plan is a set of twins on an AES390 for a bad street car build. Ill delete AC, and stand the radiator up. I just need some pictures, and information on what you guys used to build your own kit. I have a fabricator lined up who can weld aluminum, stainless steel, mild steel etc.
What turbos you used?
What bends of piping did you buy for hot/cold side?
What manifolds you used?
What intercooler?
So bring on the pictures and your setups. Fbodies only! This will be going in a 2000 Trans Am. Thanks!

They Precision PT6266s would be bad *** on a 390. If you have a little more coin the Forced Performance HTA3594Rs with TiAL Housings would be plain killer.
Are you asking what specific bends? If so that will be up to where you plate everthing.
The Truck Manifolds.. Plain and simple.
A Twin Entry Single outlet of your choice (something like Bell or Garrett for quality though)

What are your thoughts on the TC67 or TC70. Looks like the 6266's are 200 more a piece. Which i could probably swing. But ill save money where i can. Looking to make 850rwhp. As far as an intercooler i was thinking of using a CXracing IC again and just cut a second inlet hole and weld on an additional flange .
As far as turbo placement, they will be front mounted air filter on passenger side will b where the battery is and the other side mirrored. I was going to weld a manifold flange to a piece of tubing then add the turbo flange on the other end to push the turbo forward enough to clear the front of the motor.
This position, just different manifolds

Come on now. How u gonna give us one teaser pic. I was thinking about twins myself but I ended up doing a Single kit from HS. Are the 100% sure you wannna do twins? The amounts of combos out the are endless. That's why I did a single setup.

For one, twins are rare. And everything Ive read, twins are more fun on the street and spool much faster. Since this will be a street car, thats what i need

Thanks! We are looking at Summer 2013 for the Twin Kit. Still in the early phases but everything is definitely looking very promising. We will be testing it on our White Trans Am with a forged 370 and twin TC72s
