Stock short +63cc heads + D1SC =?
98 SS
LS6 intake
Ported TB
Kooks LT's
Stock cam 198/209 .500/.500 119.5
Ls6 oil pump
Comp push-rods
Katech rod bolts
D1SC 6-rib w/ belt wrap mod - Twin IC 3.7" pulley
I am just trying to keep everything together until I can afford a forged shortblock and was wondering if a set of heads I have would be crossing the line. They have 63 cc chambers, full cnc, and enlarged intake/exhaust valves. I was thinking of leaving the cam stock to choke it out a little, but am afraid this is still a recipe for a busted motor, compression will be a little higher than ls6 heads. Also, I'm not sure what kind of boost the 3.7" pulley will be giving me. Would love some opinions, power goals only 550

those would be fine. you could always sell them or trade them for a set of 317 heads. grab some arp bolts or studs, and get a damn good tune. keep the boost low and enjoy it at that level while you save up for the forged shortblock. would like to also steer you in the direction of ERL, Kurt Urban, and AES when that time comes.
Any idea what that 3.7" pulley is going to put out?

Pulley is actually a 3,6" (I hadn't looked at it in months), crank pulley is 6" however. Where do you guys think this this puts me?
Also, I am setting up for E85 if that matters.
