You have to run an fbody oil pan( others may work too). Truck pan sits below the kmember.

Truck intake will not clear without cowl hood/cut a hole, Or unless you make your own mounts to sit the motor lower in the bay but that. Lower motor/ oil pans lower and will get hit due to lower ground clearance.

If you move the motor up the truck pan does work, we did this on my ltd and used the stock kmember. On all other mustangs we did with aje kmembers we used fbody oil pans.

I just order my Team Z yesterday and I called them before I ordered to verify that their unit will work with a truck pan. Hopefully I get it before or on friday so I can install it and check clearances.

He missed going with us to DragWeek this year because his was wife due. And I imagine that his new kid is going to keep him busy for awhile.

But,check out Jim's Lexus build if you haven't seen it.

Same here.

The Fairmont had a truck pan, with the stock k member, it hung lower that we would have liked but, holds alot of oil and didn't cost anything.

Mike's mustang has the f-body pan and an AJE k-member, we were a little worried about the stories of problems with that pan in a car that can sixty foot really good, but we had none of those problems even with alot of low 1.3s and a 1.27 sixty.
