What mods u got done to the suspension? this gives me an option of running a th400 with my 3.53 rear in my Audi. I though I was going to have to run a 80e for some reason to not go thru the traps on the limiter....

Converter is a transmission specialties xhd 9" flashes to about 4600 and goes 5900 on the transbrake. Using a 2step at 3000 and trans take to leave. We leave on about 8-10psi. The tire is a mt et drag 28x10.5. Suspension is bc coilovers 8k/6k. Adjustable rear camber arms and rear toe arms. Alignment pretty much 0'd in rear. Toe 0 in front with about .75* neg camber. Stock caster. Car has solid rear subframe mounts. Timing is at 18* at redline on 17.5 psi.

Thanks guys. Really hope we can get the boost up this weekend. I can't understand why it wouldn't go more than 17.5.

first off, damn, your combo is doing WORK. congrats on the amazing times.

what are the specs of the turbo? I took a quick glance at ebay and the gt45 I saw was a 68mm compressor? at your weight and power you MAY be out of turbo.

also are you intercooled?

you will also likely hear something like this, before the end of the day : "I dont like the IVO event. it is opening 18 degrees Atdc, not letting fresh charge in early enough. with your turbine size, I would like to see an earlier EVO event and a later EVC event to force more burnt charge out of the chamber. I have some ideas on a custom cam I did that would work better. PM ME."

F body accessories. I have thought about a cam over the winter. I'll pm you in a few weeks. I know there is a ton of power in the right camshaft. Yes the compressor is 68.x mm and the turbine is 77mm. It's a mismatched setup but works. Car will more than likely get a billet 76 this winter along with some fueling upgrades. My only worry with the 7675 is the exhaust housing. It is currently a 77mm with a 1.05ar, will going to a 75mm with a .96 not choke it a bit? That alone has me considering the bw options.

Currently on a single Walbro 485 with -10 feed and -6 return. 80# injectors.

no, dont pm me lol. im not the camshaft seller, just telling you what to expect from the custom cam sales force. i think your cam is FINE. the bottleneck right now based on those turbo specs, is the turbo. $400 more cam will just hit that bottle neck at a lower boost level.

68mm compressor, 77mm turbine, my money is on that turbo being out of STEAM.

at your weight and mph, you are showing around 740 hp, and i believe that is the very limit of what the turbo will make at 4.8l and 7000 rpms.

here is your engine roughly simulated with a similar size compressor wheel

http://www.squirrelpf.com/turbocalc/...&product_id=71

and here is the config
http://www.squirrelpf.com/turbocalc/...=1&map_sel0=71

i put in 700 hp and it spat out 17psi to get there. and as you can see, the turbo is MAXED out. though, it should make more boost, just wont go any faster. I even shifted the rpms down to 6000, and it gives you a little more room but it still maxes out at 780 hp.

That is flying. Theres a guy with a turbo 4.8L truck in Charleston that ended up getting custom turbo made. His name on the local boards is Foose04. He also did a backpressure check and it picked up a good bit... hes been 10.17@134 in his RCSB truck that he tows his boat with... Might want to talk to him about where he got his turbo if you plan on upgrading

That is hauling the bacon. Curious how it reacts with the taller gearing throughout the run.

Amazing this is a stock rear end. I assume you put a KAZZ in it or similar?

I'm working on a pretty similar combo but with a 2500lbs foxbody. Your results are very motivational to get it done.

Taller gears will make a huge difference. Looks to be shifting into 2nd gear around the 60' mark.

great results thus far already man! but it doesn't look like a 14 sec car leaving Just because it isn't lifting. you can see the difference in a 1.3x sec 60' vs a 2.xx LOL congrats on it all man! when my car sells, i may just have to set a little bit of funds on the side and give this a shot!

VSracing is selling the gt45's with 76 and 80mm compressors now. May be something to look into!

Congrats!
