Just did and found some info from 09' nothing real current. Looks like mixed reviews. And the ultra low is worse than the low.I should have stated that it would run on a TT motor.

Not sure if you heard of the 6061 elbow.. Although i haven't got the thing running yet, u can see how it fits, with a little trimming.

I run one. No real results though, it was on the car when I got it. Made 845rwhp @16lbs back at LMR a few years ago when it was a 6 speed car. 408ci F1 procharger, now it's a 410ci F1A with a C impeller.

Have been a 6.10@113mph in the 1/8th so far at 3,750lbs on only 11-12lbs12lbs boost. I think I'll end up getting an elbow from Aaron though....just because it's prettier

I have one on my TA. Worked just fine. Only had it at the track when I first put the 6.0 in it. Conservative timing, 14.5 degrees and still on the rich side 18psi and E85... vid in signature. I later turned up the boost and dialed in the A/F.. was a lot faster but didnt make it to track.

Its still on there now, but I have a 5.3 in there. No track time yet.

They are said to kil airflow distribution, personally unless I was over 1K rwhp I wouldn't worry about it. After that the EGT sprea gets whacky and such.

Ran one on a NA 408. Lost 80hp/80tq at the rear wheels with it. Switched to the Aarons above and ran a hell of alot better.

It looks to be very restrictive. I would get the aarons elbow, seems a lot less restrictive and way better flowing.

How can you compare the results of an N/A engine to boosted? That would be like saying you gained XX amount of power going from a stock TB to a 90mm one N/A. Now how would the same thing work on a boosted engine you know nothing about?

I have that elbow on a vic jr. 370 cubes and a YSi. My plugs have looked really good from the first WOT runs. My plugs look better with this set up than they did with the stock LS6 intake. Don't have solid dyno numbers, but it made 903/845 on 7 cylinders, so its not hurting performance IMO. I went with this elbow b/c its the only one that would clear a small aftermarket hood on my C5.

Bringing back an old thread.

I have an Arron's elbow, picture attached, however I may need to buy a different one that is a lower profile, about 1.5 inches for hood clearance, and angles down. If you notice in the picture, I have the TB, a NW 102, loosely bolted so I can simulate a down angle. A plate between the TB and current elbow that is tapered 1 inch to 1/4 inch would also work but would still require me to modify the inside hood braces, doable just more work. I don't want the elbow to be too restrictive. Any thoughts what would be better? Does anyone make spacers that are tapered? Thanks
