After looking at the turbo for a bit i was wondering what the brass fitting on the oil supply hole is. It has what looks to be a screen in it. Do i need it or not?

Well this build had to take a turn. Had sell turbo to pay a unforeseen bill. So I am going to get it running and driving and then after getting the rest of the drive train up to shape install a turbo possibly. It should be driving in a few weeks.

Got the motor in and running. Not ready for a test drive yet. So far It runs great. I need a exhaust and a cooling fan. As far as I know that is about it. It wont let me put pics in for some reason.

Picking the truck up from the exhaust shop in the morning. Can't wait to drive this thing. Has been a hole year.

Drives great. Has tons of power. It even passed the state inspection. If I can figure out how to post a video and pic I will later.
