Okay about time for a little update. Havent been slacking just doing **** right, and taking my time. Got about 20 little things checked off my list this last month that needed to be taken care of, nothing to post up. But the hotside got finished this weekend with the dual JGS 40's. Was going to get a coating on my hotside, but said the hell with it and just wrapped it with some DEI titanium wrap. TIP: DO NOT USE HEAT WRAP DRY, SOAK IT IN WATER FOR 10 MINUTES THEN USE IT. makes it 10x tighter and easier.

Also go the 1.40 housing on. That bitch is heavy too. Tiny bit of trimming and she fit the setup perfect. All the suspension in the front end has been repainted and put back together. Intake painted, new valve covers with dual -12 vents going to catch cans located in the inner fenders.

Next on the list is getting the 9" under the *** end and setup, then order up some 17" rears with some 28" tall radials. Not sure on what tire im going to use but the only ones ive found are the Nitto NT 450 275/50/17.

I will try to keep up with posting better. these are the only recent ones i have.

even with the titanium wrap you found it easier wet? thought the point of the titanium wrap was so you didn't have to wet it? ive used it dry and I thought it went pretty good.

Only thing ive heard about the titanium wrap is the lack of fading. Never heard that it was easier to wrap. Even if wetting it didnt make it easier to wrap it still helps out from getting fiberglass splinters all over you.

wetting it prevents you from inhaling the fibers, helps from getting them in your skin, even though you should be wearing gloves, and helps it stretch so you can wrap it tight, but once it dries it tightens back up even more.

thought so, says you don't have to wet it, and its not fiberglass don't have to worry about fibers.

like I said I wrapped my manifolds with out wetting it and I got it very tight. was just wondering how it turns out with wetting it, next time ill try it with water and see if there is a difference on how it turns out

You can stretch the dei titanium crap as tight as a rubber band when it is dry

I've done back to back tests, there is no difference in stretching but even though there is no fiberglass in the titanium there are still fibers in it that make you itch and soaking it in water prevents that.

Got a few questions for you Black WS666...
How did you get that rough cast intake looking so smooth in black? Is that TB just flipped upside down?
How do you like that shifter? I have one but havent used it yet. Last, what alt bracket are you using?

Ground the intake down with 80 grit then with the help of beating on some primer then smoothing the graininess came right out. Yup thats a FAST piece of **** 102 TB just flipped upside down. Shifter is awesome. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Super nice piece!! Alternator bracket is i think a BMR, speed inc sells them. Search my name with alternator bracket and i had a few threads giving tips about mounting the alternator low with truck manifolds.

Getting some major piece done recently. Have the whole setup back together and ready to roll, just waiting on some cash for a radiator, boost controller, and meth kit. In the mean time I got my 9" done from Burkhart and wow this thing turned out nice. Weighs significantly less then the old 12 bolt. I would say in the ballpark of 20-30 pounds less. Here are some pictures of the updates in the engine may and some of the bitch'n Burkhart fabbed 9".
