Have to be careful with ignition of that methanol if it slings or mists onto the exhaust though I would think.

honest question, would it be better to have the nozzle a bit further away from the compressor to allow the water to mist more? i think you are the third person i've seen put it precompressor so i'm just trying to learn more

I think you would be better off/safer injecting in the intake tube after the blow off valve...there have been some fires

Right now its half water half methanol. not sure how flammable that mixture is.

This video is kind of a bad example of the spray pattern. It actually is really good at atomizing the methanol. But when air is being sucked in 1" away from the turbo the stream will look small like it is. Im sure its dispersing fine.

Sunday we ran the car in the Central Street Scene's Street Car Challenge. Rules were you had to drive to the track from a check=in location 90 miles from the track and drive on the tires you race on. It was over 120 miles to the check in from my house so it was a 400+ mile round trip. Car ran the best pass to date. 8.87 @ 158. 60ft was a 1.44 on the back tires.

The car did a really weird launch. It picked the tires up, sat them back down real soft and then picked them back up. Did the exact same thing on both video passes. You can really see it in the first vid when it runs 9.1 @ 149. Second vid is the 8.8 pass.

OVERALL SUPER HAPPY WITH THE CAR!! I BUILT THIS CAR TO DO EXACTLY WHAT IT DID SUNDAY. DRIVE 400+ MILES AND CRACK OF 8.XX TIMES!!!

Good work man. Gotta be happy with that. What does the car weigh with you in it?

How do you like that glide on the street? Most people tell me i should stay with my th400 with a race weight near yours.

I love my powerglide. Street drives great. Only have to shift once, whats not to like. True is has a hella high first gear but im making it work obviously. Best thing about the glide honestly is i can have it out, rebuild it myself, and back in the car the same night. No need to ship it off to some mystery trany builder half way across the country and pay out the *** for services your not even sure happened. Dont get me started on the debate of 4L80's ether, haha.
