beautiful man! could you maybe lay some glass and try to blend it into the stock hoods line? would hate to see you have to run a huge scoop on it just to clear the pipe

Man that black and blue combo turns me on

Why not just rework the diffuser on the compressor ?

Its not going to hit the charge pipe its going to hit the actual intake and TB. I havent gotten far enough to "test fit" the hood but man, i really do not want a big *** scooped out WS6 hood. Im no fan of those.

If it did stick threw the hood a little do you think that would look trashy? I could paint the hi ram top black and do the letters that say Holley EFI in grabber blue.....might look good. I just dont want a big hood, and i will NEVER go back to pin on, those are horrible for anything on the street.

Have to look at it from my point of view as well though. If i hack this hood up and dont like it, then ijust ruined a 500 dollar hood. So i need to be pretty sure it will look good

I don't like the look of it sticking through. Maybe your can prove me wrong though or put your old intake setup back on and be done with it.

true. I will most likely take your advise and try it, im pretty good with glass so if all else fails i will patch it and sell it. Might be able to get the hole cut this weekend to see just how bad its gonna be.

I would try cutting it and a little bit sticking out I could deal with also. I am about to try and fit a pro flo intake under my stock ws6 hood. I really don't want to run a different hood but I think the pro flo will be easier to fit than yours. But yous looks sweet keep up the good work and I have watched it from the start!!!

I wouldn't cut a ws6 hood as they are worth good money. Maybe find steel hood cheap and cut it to see if you like it before cutting?

Its not a stock hood its a VFN fiberglass hood. I Sold my stock WS6 hood back 4 years ago for 1100 bucks. I know they are gold.

I like your idea of cutting it and painting the top of the intake black with grabber blue lettering. It would be awesome if you can get the cut really tight to match the shape/location of the intake.

ITS ALIVE!!!!

Started the car last night and got a heat cycle in. Sounds good, good oil pressure, everything checked out. Have a few oil leaks and one fuel leak to fix, but other than that all is perfect. The charge pipe was fun to make, haha. Have a video of the first start up, will load it soon. Hoping to drive it next weekend.
