Definitely make the list...think of everything you can off the top of your head, then leave another page for things you think of going along the way, and things you have to add to the list because you screwed up Everything will take double what you expected too.
Once you start making progress, it'll snowball and motivate you more. Believe me...I've been there and was there for a long time.

These are the fittings I used to connect to the stock fuel lines...they're held in place by a metal retainer instead of the plastic "quick connect" on many of them. There's really no way for the to come off without unscrewing the line to the rails then removing the retainer.

Everything else on the rails is 6 AN connects

Quick update...first start was last night. It ran for about 10 minutes and no problems apparent. I ended up recruiting help with some of the final things I wasn't sure how to do and they made quick work of it.
Assuming everything works right, just needs to be tuned and an alignment and it should be road worthy.

A little video after the first startup...having trouble getting the brakes to bleed right so no further progress. Normal resistance the first half of the pedal being depressed and I guess it just goes to the floor after.

It was put on the dyno yesterday to work on some bugs since my tags are expired and the cops around here like to write tickets. Still needs some fine tuning and before it'll be dyno'd for "real" which should be happening today. It made 601 RWHP on 10-11 PSI so it still has a little left in it.
There was an obstruction in my oil drain line that caused some oil to backup into the turbo so it's still blowing a little smoke once the exhaust heats up. Hopefully that just needs to be burned off and the seals are OK.

Got her home tonight and in the garage...I still need to get it aligned so I probably won't drive it too much until I can get that done. The front suspension looks a little out of toe. I'll still drive it up to KC2K13 regardless.
Never been in, let alone driven, a turbo car before...makes all sorts of fun noises. I didn't really get into the gas much tonight since it was dark by the time I drove it home and I couldn't see who was around me.
Thanks to everyone involved with this build! From everyone on LS1tech who answered all my dumb questions, to vendors who hooked me up with parts and advice, and especially those who did fabrication or turned wrenches. I don't know all your screen names but you know who you are.

I've put about 200 miles on it since I got it back...no issues so far. Got it aligned and had sub frame connectors installed and it drives a lot better now. I still think the no front swaybar feels weird but I'm getting used to it.
All cleaned up and ready for KC2K13 this weekend
I'll take some more detailed pics of the under hood setup tomorrow. I'm very happy with the way it turned out...most of the turbo plumbing is hidden (mainly due to rear crossover) and the vacuum block, catch can, and coolant overflow tank were all placed in the bumper so it makes for a pretty clean under hood appearance.
Still learning how the car behaves...never driven a stalled auto before, never driven a turbo car, and never driven a car with this much power...so I'm breaking myself in gently and learning how the turbo hits and at what point the tires will break loose.
