Default Paint, powdercoat or anodize my IC

I want my IC and radiator black. I see Eastwood makes radiator paint, not sure if its anything different than regular paint and not sure how it holds up, seen some look like crap. So what about powdercoating or anodizing. Any good? What is the best option?

Radiator paint is thinner than regular paint. The reason is the thicker paint prevents the heat transfer from the fins to the air.

PC would be a bad idea IMO because of how thick it is.

anodizing is best but it scratches easy and is a bitch to touch up.

Back to back testing with painted vs non we didn't see a difference. Just some cheap rattle can black paint.

there are some IC's out there that come black from the manufacture. Not sure what they use to turn the metal black; if its just a coating or actually anodized like discussed above. I guess you would have to call them and ask. I have even some on ebay too...
For what you actually see on the car I would think the paint would hold up the best as you can easily touch it up when needed... or just stick the IC in a fire for a minute or two and scorch the **** out of it turning it black permanently. haha
