The lean is nearly impossible to get arid of!!!! I have had 20 of these damn trucks now...let me tell you all about it. I have cut the pass. springs down, cut sway bar end links down on the pass side, and switch leafs from side to side and nothing will do it. Little truck with the gas tank and driver on one side.

I believe I have heard of people cutting the sleeve that holds the sway bar to the a-arm. I am not sure how much though. Maybe try half inch and see if it does anything, if not try a inch. Again I'm not 100% if that works are but them sleeves are cheap and easy to change. I think it's worth a shot

Hahahaha! That's not the answer I was looking for. I guess it's set for a hard launch since it will torque the truck the other way....I'll call it preload

Lol i wouldn't have done it that way anyway. My truck doesn't lean at all so i don't have to worry about it.

Looking forward to getting started. Think I decided on lifting the front 2" and raising the rear 3". That should get me where it needs to be for a non scraping height

nice clean truck. id have to agree with the fuel tank idea causing the lean. im guessing it was a 4.3l5spd to have the 8.5". food for thought you can steal the disc brakes from a blazer to stop a little better thats how i did mine. what kind of specs/goals for the engine u have?

It still is a 4.3 5 speed but hopefully not much longer....too slow. The plan is to use either a 4.8 or a 5.3, whichever I can get the best price on. Then add my cam, some good valve springs and head studs. Top it off with 60-80 lbs injectors and use the stock truck intake. My goal is to have a 500-600 rwhp weekend cruiser that may see track time every once in awhile. Really not looking to push it too much.

I already have a set of Strange rear brakes I will use. They are currently on my MWC9, but have a buyer that wants it without them. I will just need to buy the correct caliper mounts for the 8.5".

Oh yeah, I ordered springs to bring the front end up some. This sucks to drive it this low!!! I must be getting old?????

Whatever heads the 4.8 or 5.3 comes with and same with compression......Unless I find a shortblock for sale, then who knows what I will get. Just know it won't be 317's, as they will just lower the compression too much...... Boost will be whatever it takes to be fun

Very clean truck! I do agree though, it needs to be lifted up a bit.

To fix the S10 lean, you have to get one of these 3/4 inch coil spring spacers for the drivers side. Just goes in on top of the spring, should pretty much take care of it.

It's belltech part #4930

I plan to get a spacer to fix the lean. I'm raising the truck with 1" drop springs in place of the 3" drops. Gonna take one 2" block out of the rear also....hopefully it's enough.

There were tons of 2wd trucks around here, but finding one that was straight was very difficult. I was almost to the point of getting one shipped from somewhere else.

Okay I finally got this thing to not scrape the front wheels by raising it 2" front and back.

Before with a 5/7 drop

After with a 3/5 drop

What does everybody think? To me the front needs to raise a bit more but it's not bad....
