Thanks Dan!

Has anyone ever bought a salvage motor from Automix.com? I found a bunch of L33's on there but they want you to submit a VIN to get it......Any way around this crap?

Thanks for the info on the ball joints...I'll look into that

I had over an inch of clearance on the inside with 325/50/15's. A 10 inch wheel with 5.5" backspace should clear with a 275 tire without issue. But I am leaning towards an 8" wheel so there won't be any question that it would fit.

This is a friend of mines truck and he runs 15x8 w/ 295-65-15 DR w/4.5 BS and clears about 1/2" from springs Your 325's probably wouldn't fit.. but the 275's should ..Keep in mind you don't want to cut a tire...

^^^^ I like the way tires tuck in there. 275's should fit without much issue. After seeing that I know 15x8's are what I'm gonna go with....and I figured 325's wouldn't work anyway, at least everything I have read they don't with stock suspension points.

On another note, I found a few LM4's and a handful of L33's. I know the L33 is the better 5.3 but is it worth $400 more? Plus I can't get a definitive answer whether the L33 has an intake or if it's just a stripped long block. The LM4's are complete.

Well I now have a LM4 5.3 coming to me so let the parts buying begin. Will update when I start the build. As of now I'm looking for a swap header for the driver side and plan to fabricate a log style manifold for the passenger side. Will have a crossover underneath the trans from the header to the rear of the log manifold then will place the turbo where the battery resides now....

Already have a cam I will use that was pulled from my 402 I had.....It's a comp 232/228 .595/.588 115 lsa....may be a bit much for the street but it's what I got so I'm using it.

Stay tuned.......

??? It was a decent cam on my twin turbo'd 402...albeit a bit on the mild side for that setup but it worked. I don't see many NA cams with a reverse split

4.3 radiator wonder if there is a big diff. in the cooling capability of your newer style rad. compared to mine as that would help save a few dollhairs.

I was not aware the ls2 vette pan fit. I thought it was just the h3 pan that fit. Check out kb raceing they have a manifold that iam going to try and see if it fits under the hood then the cross over runs down by the trans and keeps the wastegate under the truck also. Seems like a clean way to do it.

Hurry up and get that thing done. I'm taking mine tomorrow to see what it will run. Hopefully I get at least one good pass before the trans

The LS2 vette pan isn't a direct fit. I will have to notch the crossmember a bit, but from what I seen it's minimal.

These headers weren't really that expensive, so if it looks like a front mount will work only one will be used. At least with them coming I have the option of doing a rear mount.......not that rear mounting it will be easier. Running the charge pipe is the major issue with that.

Ordered the turbo today. Went with a Turbonetics TC76 from Huron Speed before the price increase.
