Yep George is good people, my Firehawk is making about the same power and I can tell you that's about as much power as you'll want on the street. Be careful it's the car coming into the torque in the midrange that will get the car loose.

My own welding and fabrication may be crap, but I at least make some effort to maintain decent flow and design. IMO there is no excuse whatsoever for such a terrible design. If they think that is acceptable, I'd be worried about other work they've done.
You could have had a quiet system, easy to work around that caused no power loss at all.
But at least it explains the power that was sapped by the exhaust.

That may be the case....but it is still horrendous !

lol....rose colored glasses...or them painted black ?
Up to the point where they merge, yes it isnt bad. But that...sorry, it isnt a merge, it's a ******* tee !!! In an exhaust !!
But then right after are also two short bends.
Now clearly they can cut metal and weld it, they had smooth bends availabe too, so it really wouldnt have been difficult to make some sort of sensible merge at that point, instead of the abortion they did make.
I dont see paid work like that as acceptable under any circumstances. I wouldnt care if the welds were super neat, or joins super neat. But there has to at least be some good functionality to it.
They failed massively in that respect. A bit of sensible design and you'd never need cutouts.
