good headstud and gasket combo?

Default good headstud and gasket combo?

have a forged ls1 i plan on running 18psi on and im about to put the top end of the engine together, was going to order GM LS9 head gaskets and 12 point ARP studs (part# 46-234-4316) will this work (ls1 being 5.7 and ls9 being 6.2?) and or work well together? thanks!

They should work well together. I will be running this setup on my 5.3L.

use the chinese suds on ebay they are 69.99 and have been proven over 1k+

Make sure you aren't running the 853 heads with the notch in the deck surface. Otherwise you are good.

I have always used ARP head studs along with Cometic head gaskets and never had an issue on FI/N20 motors I have done for customers. The GM stuff does look very nice and works really well to.

im running 243 heads, i have wesico 8.5:1 CR pistons so the 243 heads should bring me up to 9:1 CR, i saved up enough to get the ARP studs, ive spent this much money on it so far i dont really wanna cheap out on the studs : \ appreciate the input though

I just picked up a set of studs from Alper Motorsports for $65 shipped, I am happy with them as they look to be good quality.
