GP on SD-Concepts Spring Tensioner Kit
It looks like everyone that has a steel bracket is sending it in. I am still undecided at which bracket to send in, especially after talking with Scott. I like the aluminum bracket because I don't have to worry about rust and its lighter. The steel bracket I don't have to worry about flexing. I think the aluminum bracket should hold up with the 8 rib tensioner. I decided to go with the ATI dampner instead of the stock balancer. One day I want to be able to make >700 rwhp like some of the corvette guys and I want to do it right the first time around.
Well. I got it (on friday, needed thursday). So we spent all day friday to get everything to aliagne(sp). AND we still haven't (friday night) got a belt. cause they say u have to measure for one (But not many places carry 8ribs), so we did and the size we needed nobody had.
But we finally got it all together (Saturday) and we are about to tune it. And now....... Alternator took a SH. So I will be missing my track day, cause of a Alternator. So now I will get this one rebuilt, and made for a higher voltage.
But all-and-all. This set-up is dam good. Just make sure u have a selection of 8ribs belts on hand and I will let u all know how it goes when I fix the alt.
