Word, my welds are probably the ugliest things you will ever see but, so far they have held whatever I have put them on together.
I agree, Matt isn't showing off his ugly welds as a PR stunt, he is just showing that you don't have to be pretty to be fast. Function over fashion(which I pretty much live by.) I don't care if it's pretty, so long as it works!

Matt what are your thoughts on a 02 silverado 1500. Guy wants an even trade for my 95lt1 Camaro m6. I was.in the process of starting the swap but ran out of money to convert my trans to an ls1. Pm me I can't seem to send you a message

Also what kind of suspension is needed for these things to hook? I can't find a thread
Thanks

Caltracs or Smith Racecraft Assassin bars are your best bet. I have caltracs and slicks on my 01 2wd Silverado and it hooks great launching on a few pounds of boost.

If you're planning on going the whole turbo route, you'll want to swap to an 80E trans and build up the ten bolt.

I am surprised how choppy the idle is although i bet that will change some when they tune it. Good job as always Matt. Bringing hotrodding back to the people. THank you.

So why haven't you done any burnouts yet? Not good enough.
