Why not try putting the downpipe lower in the fender? Giving you more piping and more room for another bullet muff? Just by it being lower in the fender it shouldn't be as bad in the cabin.

its actually not loud in the cabin, well not quiet but, you get the point haha

what i would love is it to be really quiet and still make 600.

that is asking too much for me though, i might as well put a Vband super quiet muffler on it and just unband it at the track.

sometimes i think its loud then i hear a dude with a stock hemi truck driving with an exhaust that makes this thing sound stock lol

Snag a wastegate actuator off a turbo at a junkyard and rig it to open the flapper at 5psi :-)

Maybe with the flapper being a big cheap throttle body off an explorer, or whatever is cheapest.

I used a cruise control vacuum pod to actuate an old throttle body for a BOV on a pro charger setup I had. At idle or cruising, the pod was actuated pulling a cable to open the BOV "JY throttlebody". When you mashed the go peddle, the vacuum would drop to near zero in the intake and the pod would close the BOV "JY throttlebody" letting the engine build boost. When you let off of the gas, the vacuum from the intake would actuate the pod to open the BOV and keep the pro charger from surging.

You could use this same type of setup with a little modification to dump exhaust under boost. You'd need to modify the BOV "JY throttle body" so the spring would hold it in the open position. With vacuum at the intake loading the pod, this would hold the BOV closed at cruise and idle. Mash the peddle and the pod would pull the cable opening the BOV...

took the steel side from an old desk, my dad cut it out and we drilled and pop rivited it on, an ode to my sister who is an air-framer for the army. should have done a before, for the 8x10 square hole i cut in there with my plasma cutter to fit the exhaust through the fender haha

Great job lining up the body accent lines! almost look factory correct. Reminds me of some reproduction good mark fenders for muscle cars I have seen.

I thought it was an "accent color." Kind of reminds me of the aviation theme of the whole thing. Or are you saying that it's not the correct gray for that aviation feel thing?
