Its the best route, a cheap 2000 degree paint and a blanket.

I did the same, coating held up just fine under the blanket

Ohh my bad! Lol I misread his point... I honestly think the blanket retains more heat than the coating its self. Ive really never been a big fan of coating stuff for I believe that heat can stay out but heats gets trapped in the object due to the coating. Thats my point of view.

In the turbo system, you need the Heat !! it helps move the air ! has anyone every open their turbo up aftre a season....? I opened my buddies up,,,full of rust anstuff from the heat and exhaust gas contaminants, and the turbine was practically seized... thats why Im looking into coating the inside and out as well !!!
