Default vic jr.air distribution problem solver?

Hi guys I've been seeing people on here sayin that there is a problem with using an elbow that turns down into the victor style intake. I had a Buick gn for a few years and a company called RJC Racing developed an air distribution plate to fix the problems for the Buick. Just wondering if someone makes a distribution plate for the victor style intake? I know people have started putting deflectors inside the elbows to push more air to the front but is that really helping?

I like the look of the victor jr. Intake and want it on my build but don't want to take a chance of hurting the engine over how cool something looks.

I had the Vic Jr and Tall Elbow on mine. I liked the looks and didn't have any problems with it. I had heard about the same issue though and got a chance to trade straight up for a Edelbrock Pro Flo XT and did. I like the looks of it even more and it will be interesting to see what the difference is.

I like the plate and 1" spacer but a Vic Jr. and Tall Elbow already sit very, very high. It sat much higher than my current Pro Flo intake. That really surprised me.

I have a Vic Jr and their small elbow on my blown 370 and my plugs look great! All holes are very even. Matter of fact, they look better than when it was a stock LS6 with LS6 intake.

would the 1 0r 2" spacer allow enough room for the air to straighten out and be effective? if so ill make one that is 2 or 2.5 " otherwise it looks like im gonna start looking for one of the edelbrock pro flow intakes.
