Ugh. i had a couple pinholes in my custom radiator I put together. My welder broke, yada yada. havent had the motivation to worry about it... It was on my list for today tough.
I did get a few more idle starts. The smoking was definitely just from too much oil lube when I put the engine together. Its fine now.
So, hopefully today, I can get the car back together. Maybe get her on the road.
To make it even worse, its not like I haven't been in the garage.... I picked up a new project...
An '85 Fiero... Im building it for my Senior Vehicle Systems Capstone at school. Its supposed to be more of an Engineering project. By the basic idea is to run 10s with a $600 budget + a few extra parts I have laying around to fudge the budget....

They have been on. But they are off as of now. Waiting for the radiator(which sits inside the front bumper cover. The stock flip-up headlights have been deleted. I made custom brackets for the covers. I bought 5" round driving lights from autozone which Im going to mount in the fog light openings.

Careful there, headlights are supposed to be at a certain height ( i dont know it off the top of my head) . You might get hassled a lot for this one. I know of some guys (my dad included) that put better fog lights in and didnt turn on the headlights and still got pulled over. Cop said they were bright enough but just too low. Never looked into whether or not he was lying but i figured id share the experience.
Thanks for the heads up though.

Well yesterday I was just finishing up little stuff, putting the bumper on, etc.
I tried to hook-up the clutch line, I just could not get it to snap in... Im going to try again here in a few minutes. If all goes well, Ill call someone over to help bleed the clutch, and be street tuning by lunch.
haha, I was not expecting such a violent response... but it sounds wicked, and it made full boost.
Now, I just need to find room in the budget for a 9", slicks, and qa1s
