This is EPIC! very cool build! lately i've been looking at the front of my cars and wanting to do the same cutting to free up extra space.

Keep the updates coming. this is a great thread!

Thank you. The challenge now is to find a way to finish it so it doesn't look too "racecar".

I can ****** a picture of the cut, but I haven't capped the ends yet. Im waiting until I start fabbing the frontend, I may cut a little more off the bottom.

Also, I am thinking about going with a radiator mounted water pump, so Ill do all that fab at one time, when I figure it out.

Nice man, I was thinking about mounting my radiator in a similar fashion but hadn't seen anybody do that. Really cool and gives me some ideas.

Well I recieved my turbo and all my chromoly tubing today. Felt like christmas...

but this mean I have no more excuses... I have all the parts I need.

So... Today, I mocked the turbo in place, and literally stared at it for 4 hours...

There is so much to think about, getting started is going to be hard, and then it should move quickly.

Turbo support is finished. Charge pipe will be <12" long and is perfectly inline with the intake.

Thanks, I love fab work, but this is my first try at anything serious. Also, my first time with a TIG...

Yep. I have always hated them. Im just gonna mount the covers on some 1/4" 4130 tube.

Im going to put some 90mm hella projectors in the foglight holes.

Are you serious about ditching the head lights? I thought I was at the point of no return when i stood my radiator up. Is that just a t4 turbo?
