Nope, nope and no clue, lol. I got the 92mm turbine for my 5.3 liter with the 1.10 AR T6 turbine housing. It was more expensive, but the turbine is supposed to be some of the latest greatest technology. I expect it to be plenty down low with the 4000 rpm converter I have. It instantly goes to 0 psi any time I even mildly rev the motor even with the minor exhaust leak I have right now. I hope to be driving it in the next 2-3 weeks depending on how long it takes to get my driveshaft made, so I will update my build thread with impressions.

But all the Borgs I have used in previous builds have been wonderful. And I am not just saying that because I sell them too. I could sell Garrett, precision, Holset, whatever, I just really like the Borg Warner stuff.

I also have 1 of those Borg Warner S480's with the 92mm, T6 1.1a/r exhaust side. It spools instantly anywhere over 3000 rpm with my 6.0 with my 5 speed setup(no converter to help it), and if I ever need to run a 5.3 under it, I am not afraid of that combo either.
road driving? - **** gets crazy when you stab the loud pedal

What wideband do you purchase? I just installed a MicroSquirt and need to hook one up and want to get the right one. Is there any donor cars from the junkyard that you could get one on the cheap and wire it up?

Can you add that link to the list? I think that is a pretty important item to finish the project off.

Prolly easier to just buy an sfi approved ls1 flexplate ($150) and a th400 converter meant to be used with an ls1 ($850 from circle d) you could choose another vendor that's slightly cheaper on the converter but same concept they will build it so the snout mates up with the crank with a regular ls1 flex plate no spacers.

DENMAH for PRESIDENT! I love this thread for so many reasons. I love how this thread disproves the "import notion" that you have to have deeeeep pockets to go fast and only using the top of the line items.

Thanx a million to everyone who contributes on this thread.

Great Thread.. it kinds disproves the "The real cost of FI" thread, which is a little over the top.

Curious....Why wouldn't you use one? Or are you joking, your Sloppy Mechanics kit from VSracing comes with one.

i dont have any issues without one, so i dont ever use them, i have given him **** many times for selling a BOV in the kit, but its mostly because people request it, so he gives it to them by default, i usually tell my friends to substitute it out with something else. like double feed and drain kits

I too haven't run one (Automatic) because I saw that Denmah has such good luck without running one. It's been like this for over a year now. Haven't had any issues either.

Thats really interesting, money in my pocket!

have you used e85 on any of your builds? If so have you seen a significant difference? Would 60lbs. injectors be big enough for e85 or should I stick with pump gas?

How flexible is your buddy at VSracing about tweaking your package, the intercooler he offers is to wide for my build, can he swap that out of chop that off the price?

i dont particularly like e85, too hard to get here, and pumpgas and methanol work just as good.

60s big enough for...?

he can usually accommodate

Denmah do u mind if I post this thread on chevelles.com? There are lots of guys starting to go this way and questions asked over and over. This would help them tremendously.
