yes sir. I built my cold side in a few hours, not counting the welding of the IAT bung and the BOV flange; though I had planned a lot along the way and bought a few 90* couplers beforehand when I was building the hot side and mounting the intercooler.

Thanks for the information. I see that Huron Speed does not have a T4 hot side option; only the T6. I'm really new to the whole turbo build stuff, so I've been trying to do as much reading as possible trying to learn as much as I can. I've pretty much decided that I am going to make the change over to turbo, but have yet to determine what route I'm going to go in regards to buying a kit like the Huron Speed one, or having a custom kit done up. The guy who did my heads/cam/clutch swap is big into turbos and he custom fabbed up his own turbo kit on his Camaro, and he's running very low 9's. I'll likely just get with him and see what he suggests. It may be cheaper having him do the whole thing than buying a kit.

Ok cool. I'll be ordering it soon. I'm using a stock truck intake manifold and fuel rails. Do I use EV1 or EV6 injectors? I also see other places talk about long and short injectors. I want to get the Siemens Deka 80lb from VS Racing.

If you're using stock truck injectors, you will need to convert the pigtails over to LS1 (EV1) style. You will also need to make or buy 1/2"-5/8" spacers and longer bolts to space the truck fuel rail up. It's about a $30 conversion, plus injectors of course.

Ok thanks. You know of any place that sells the pigtail conversion or am I just going to have to make that a custom job?

Where do some of you buy your hot and cold side piping from? Since you have to custom make the rest of the kit.

You can buy something like these, if you just want to solder the wires on... you'll need 8 of them.

Or you can buy these, like I did and crimp them on... It helps to have the right crimping tool...

Almost everyone buys from these guys:

Are the Siemens Deka short injectors with EV1 connectors "Plug and play" or do you need any additional wiring or spacers, etc. to use them?

Hey denmah does the VsRacing 4in intercooler come with cold side pipes, bands, and silicone connectors? They don't have any info on the site and they have yet to respond to my email.

if you get the intercooler "kit" it does

if you just buy the intercooler then no

usually the 3 inch intercooler kit is like 200 dollars, pipes, clamps, couplers and intercooler

i would assume the 4 inch intercooler is approx 250 because the 4 inch intercooler is 150 ish dollars alone.

I had another brand of these fall apart in my hands after one use. My advice is buy the right pig tails and wire them in with heat shrink

Denmah, where do you get the wastegate springs at for the 38mm Emusa? Mine came with just one and is like to get a couple. Maybe 14# and one a little higher

What's everyone's stance on new timing sets.

Going to be swapping my cam out soon, does everyone use the stock timing gears/ chain or do you guys get new ones?

LS2 chain a simple upgrade, then you have the c5r, more expensive, and then you have the twin chain timing kits which require slight grinding
