Just make sure and maintain it and lube it up with the nice nickel anti-seize.

Not as well, but you could buy 6 of the 38mms for the cost of a single Tial 38. A little anti seize seems trivial when you think about that.

Great info. Denmah, this may have been mentioned already but if so I apologize I didnt see it, what size cam do you usually use?

In the VS Racing kit, are you using the standard GT45 that comes with the kit or one of the upgraded ones? What size is the standard one?

usually cheapest mild cam in the 205-220 lift area's

like the triple 12 from JFR or like this trickflow i am trying 216/220

i like to stay around 550 lift and use pac springs so i can use all stock stuff and not beat them up.

i have used a bunch of the "GT45" series turbos, on many different builds
the standard is the gt45-68mm

Awesome thanks man. Do I have to call or email VS Racing if I want to upgrade to a bigger GT45? There is no option to select to upgrade on their site although it says upgrades are available.

The Denmah kit on the VS racing website, what else do you need to make it a complete setup? Is the piping in that kit all you need, and is it specific for a LS or do you have to cut it up and fabricate?

i would call him because his inventory changes alot, depending on what he has or what he wants to get rid of he might be able to give you a deal on things.

The piping kit is a universal one and only the cold side from the turbocharger to the intercooler to the throttle body. You will need another coupler to go from the 3" piping in the kit to the 3.75" throttle body inlet - either a straight one or a 90* dending on what will fit your accessories. You will have to cut up these pipes to fit your car.
For my car, I only ended up using 2 - 180* bends from the kit.

You will need to build your entire hot side setup from engine to turbo, which will cost you as much as you want to spend on material and fabrication.

So technically doing the cold side is much easier than doing the hot side? I guess that's why Huron Speed sells just a hot side kit.
