I figure I should start a build thread here, as I getting close to starting the teardown.

Plans so far:

5.3L Truck motor ITS IN THE CAR
5.3L 799 Casting heads gasket matched
Tick Performance Custom Blower cam package
Procharger F1C with 4.25" pulley
A&A 8 rib bracket with Procharger 8 rib pulley's
Innovators West 10% OD balancer
Custom piping to Treadstone intercooler
Custom fuel system for E85 Done thanks to Jamie from Race Part Solutions
SD 80lb injectors flow matched from FIC
MIGHTYMOUSE stealth catch can
McLeod RST ]
LG GT2 coliovers
Weld RTS 17" rear to put the power down (hoping)
'08 Z06 2.66 ratio TR6060
'09 27 spline diff RPM update to 30 spline and HD output shafts
'07 cradle
RKT56 offset mounts

Which stage 1 are you looking at? The 226/234 .59x"/.61x" 115+3 or the 229/236 .61x"/.57x" 115+2?

I hope you aren't imitating the sloppy mechanics & gonna clean that motor up before the install.

Yes, going to completely power wash and degrease the first of the week. it will have a fresh coat of paint when done.

I went with the RXT... NEVER heard a bad thing about it and a few guys around here run it with some serious power and say it drives amazing and bites amazing when needed.
