That's the way you blow **** up! Least you did it right

But wow 80 bottles of nitrous and beating it with a turbo. Id say you got your moneys worth from that motor!

I would like to know if it was a Gen 3 or 4 engine as well. I have a hard time believing this motor lasted as long as it did on Gen 3 rods and pistons.

I really don't understand?? Let's keep dyno this engine tell it blows and not have fun with it at the track or street doing burn outs beating bikes, really. Everybody's cheering cause he blew the engine, really. Man if i would let in to pressure just to prove what dyno #'s i can push my car it would be sitting in my garage broke instead of me driving and beating how every lines up with me. I guess to each is own. Hurry up and get that other engine done so you can dyno the **** out of it again and blow it and i'll cheer from my computer for you. I'll shut up now. So go ahead and rip on me but man that thing would have been more fun beating on it and blowing it on the track or street. Just my .02 which means nothing.:s wing:

Well first off sorry to disapoint you on what we did. We were going to try to break the 1k mark we were not planning on it blowing up. But it was a stock motor and know you can only beat on it for so long before it says im done! It was my personal goal to beat the record. I know its not the fastest car in the world. Im running around on 17s with nittos. Its a fun street car for me. It has been alot of fun on the street and since we dont have a track here I have not made a point of driving hours away to get kicked out. Also in my opinion im glad it gave up on the dyno and not the street because it could have been alot worse at high speeds.

Hell yeah that's getting it done! On 16 psi is impressive! What kind of transmission? Now crank it up to around 20psi! I think the mind set is that it can't be done or its impossible on a stock motor well times have changed!

As for a 3rd or 4th gen I don't know it has all the same length head bolts if that matters. It was stock bottom end with arp rod bolts arp head studs ls9 gaskets, stock 799 heads and a 224/224r cam. O yeah on e85.

The 4th gen motors have better rods. itd be even crazier if you did this on gen3 motor. still awesome regardless!
