Weak Point on Stock LS1 with FI? What exactly is the weak point on a stock LS1 with FI? The hyper pistons? The rods, crank, and block seem to be able to take a ton of power but nevertheless there are failures on a stock LS1 bottom end.

generally you cant make enough power n/a to hurt the motor unless you are spinning to the moon.
The weakest point seems to be the pistons because this is where the most people are seeing failures. This is usually due to an off tune though and things got a lil out of whack and popped the ringland.
BUT if your tune is on, the rods will bend before a piston will break, which is probably where im heading because im going for more power this year.

Ring gap isn't the problem, the TUNE IS THE PROBLEM. Not sure how many times us guys who make them live have to say this to people and they still don't get it.
