Build Thread: Lsx, 4L80, GT55-94: Street car WS6
Well I picked up this car from MightyMouse in May of last year. Car was a monster but being the power junkie that I am I needed more and my hand was slightly forced LOL
After some issues with the stock crank and ERL block I decided to go LSX block with a dragonslayer crank.
Picking up the new motor
Once I got the motor back in the car it was of to Tiago's shop for some fabrication for this new turbo
Tiago laying down some welds
Testing fitment
5in downpipe
Finished!
Got the car back on the ground and drove it for a bit. Going to the dyno this week. Numbers will not be posted until after tx2k13 and the next Texas Invitational
Tiago is the man! If he says he is gonna do something he does it and does it well! I am always impressed with his work and he will be the only fabricator I use! He provided hours of advice and days of work! But he enjoyed the work he was doing most of the time! LOL!!
Seafish helped track down parts and supervised the job LOL!
Dopefedz/Bizzatch both come by and helped out when minor issues came up.
Blkcoupe90 did the majority of removal and installation of motor and trans.
MightyMouse: answered any and all questions I may have had, no matter how stupid they may have sounded lol. I owe you big time Dave!
I wont lie I considered putting the project on hold but these guys didn't let me. I am grateful to have such a great group of skilled/talented friends.
I have over 500 pics of the motor build/this entire process. As I go through them I will add more pics.

Wife? No wife yet but a long term girlfriend that understands this addiction. She loves coming out to the events/track days and hanging out with the girls/wives of our group. Gonna have to lock her down soon LOL
