Default How many of you guys have your boost gauge here?

I was just wondering how many of you guys have your Boost gauge in the A/C vents...... I had a 2 1/16 and a FP gauge in my A-pillar but a friend of mine had this new 2 5/8 boost and a 2 1/16 A/F gauge so i bought them. So now i have a 2 1/16 Autometer Ultra-Lite boost gauge for sale. $30 plus half of shipping.
Heres a Pic of the new 2 5/8 in the A/C vent.

3 gauge A-pillar here! IMO I don't like the vent mounted gauges. Although it is stealthy.

Mighty Mouse do you have a pic of your turbosmart boost controller? When you say left side do you mean on the pillar or in the left vent. I have a camaro so I cant do the nice guage in vent.

yup boost on the left and fp in the middle.

still leaves me one vent in the middle cluster and the 2 side ones.

I just have to kick on the fans a little higher but the car still stays cool in the summer

by the way you can get the guage to sit more flush if you remove the plastic cup.

thats what I did and my gauges sit in there nice and flush

Blackbird-
How did you run your wires/boost ref line through the duct work? Did you drill a hole somewhere? Where? I'm wanting to do this, but I don't want to have to disassemble my entire dash to do it. Any tricks or points you could pass along please?

MightyMouse, where did you get your turbosmart from?

You dont have to drill anything at all. Take out your CD player or what ever you have and the duct is right there...... there is foam around the edge..... pull the vent out and look..... its easy. Il take soem more pics when i get a chance.

Mine take up the three center vents.

Boost - Fuel Pressure - Nitrous Pressure
