I guess there's no real harm in it. I wouldn't put on the belt because you run the risk of messing it up if it's not attached and there's no point in spinning the blower if you aren't using it.

When i did mine. I hooked up everything. Tightened the belt ran the piping. Everything. I left my injectors out and didn't hook up the ic piping to the TB. Ranmy stock air filter and drove it to the tuner. I put my injectors in when i got there and hooked up the ic piping and he tuned it. Pretty simple

You can actually hook everything up except for the installation of the larger fuel injectors. You can drive the car across the US this way as long as you stay out of boost. At part throttle the boost is being directed out the bypass valve, not into the engine. Back at the old shop we had many customers bring their vehicles to us this way, many from other states pretty far from us. We would then install the injectors and flash a base tune in to account for the larger injectors, then get the car on the dyno to start the part throttle tuning. Doing it this way breaks in the blower belt, which I always recommend breaking in for an hour, then readjusting belt tension prior to going wide open throttle. Bob

That's a good question! I really hope it doesn't bleed off boost! I'm not sure though... it's on a 113lsa so that might help a little bit?

The cam is fine. I'm running a 227/235 on a 113 as well and I build plenty of boost and make plenty of power.

Just for an update.. My engine lost Oil pressure so the build is on hold... Got a forged tms motor coming. Getting ready to order a built level 5 rpm transmission. Probably going to run an ls6 cam with Brian Tooley Dual racing springs and up the pulley from the original 5.00 to a 4.50" pulley I have.

No idea. Probably check this weekend. I have the engine out of the car, but havent pulled it apart yet. I have been working 13 hr days in a town 2 hrs from my house for the past month so I can only work on it for a short time on weekends. I'm guessing a spun bearing.

How much power should I make with an ls6 cam, stock 853 heads with dual springs, Lt headers/ory/cutout, ls6 intake and 4.5 pulley on a d1sc?

I'd say around 500 rwhp on a eddy current type dyno with 8 psi. Bob

I'm 8lbs with a 5in pulley, stock long block with bobs blower cam. The 4.25 I tried at first was making 11lbs.

Bob do you think with the mods and pulley I listed that my fuel pump would keep up? It's a racetronix with hotwire.
