D series. I wanted to keep the motor alive for longer then a month so I dropped the boost. Your cam just works to well haha, great sounding too. Everyone thinks I'm still running my ms3 cam.

OP, its going to be close with your pump. That's the same setup I have and its maxed out. Seems like everyone else squeezes a little more out of them but mine was done at around 550rw.

Well you also have a boost cam and I will be running an ls6 cam. I'm also going to have it tuned safe so hopefully I'll only make around 525rwhp or so

That may be true, but going from 380 to 500 should keep me pretty happy for awhile lol. Especailly sense I haven't driven the car for months. Once I'm ready to go past 550hp I'll upgrade the fuel system

Is this with a 7.65 crank pulley? If it is something doesn't make sense. A D-1SC with a 4.50 pulley with a stock engine with headers and exhaust will normally make 7 to 8 psi. My cam is going to lower the boost slightly from a stock camshaft. Have you checked your boost level with a 2nd boost gauge? Bob

7.65 crank 8 rib set up. Tuner had his own gauge plus I've got one in the car.

Man, that sounds more like an F series. Bob

I made almost 15psi of boost with a damn good set of free flowing heads, 227/235 cam, long tubes, etc etc, and I have a 7.65/4.00 combination.

I think when you put the right pieces together, like a truck hat, huge filter, and a fmic setup, you end up making more boost than anticipated.

Well I've got the truck hat, big filter, and fmic so I might make a little more than I thought. I want to use the ls6 cam and shift it low at like 6300-6400rpm
