One step closer.....

Here is one of our customers running his 76mm Cast wheel unit we built for him in some 8th mile testing. Car is running a 370ci LS based motor.... He was the fastest turbo RS car last year and starting this year off right in testing.

Nice man! If the cast s480 is not enough for me that will be my next upgrade.

How about a GT55 turbo?

Our new GT5594 ETR-HO would make way over 300hp more. Be close to around 500-600hp more.

The new billet wheels are being done for them as we speak now. Should be ready shortly. Will make ~ close to the same power but the GT55 turbine wheel is a freak of nature. Flows big time...

Ran a 5.67 on the s475 with the gates pinned shut on a 370 w/stock heads on 93+meth, can't wait to see what the FI billet S480 can do!
I got the s475 also from forcedinductions.... Really helpful on the phone. Good customer service!!!

i went a 5.69, 5.68, and a 5.65 on sunday, wasn't leaving hard enough for a good 60' and this converter is slipping like mad (all while being waaayyy too tight during spool up). did manage a 124.4 mph. my stupid hptuners datalogger keeps crapping out before or during the passes so i had no good logs to go off of. haven't gotten a good log in a few outings. i even rewired my odbii port thinking it might be the problem. pisses me off. went a .68 with a 1.41 60', that would have easily been a .5x run with my normal 1.30 60's.

i think my converter and stock heads/intake are becoming a bit of a sticking point in my combo now.

looks like you still set a personal best, so congrats.

how much is the converter slipping?

was the boost maxed out on these passes, or wastegate limited?

The setup has WAY more left in it. That wheel moves tons more air.

I think it's time you either upped the amount of methanol you're spraying or started to run race fuel at the track.

You've got what 15-16 degrees of timing in it? Most of the guys I was with at the track this weekend with same turbo that are intercooled are running 24* on C16. That and they're running a lot more compression than you are running as well so it can be done.

Yeah our new Borg Warner 80mm ETR-HO would definitely make some steam on your setup.
