Yeah I competed and it was a fantastic weekend. I thought the trap speeds were down as well, but like Brian mentioned it really was mainly the starting point. If you got a green light earlier you obviously had a longer accelleration distance etc... I ran 162-165 last fall. This time my best was 162.xx. So it wasn't that far off really maybe a tiny bit, but not enough to be a huge difference. I ran so so, but it was mainly me. So no complaints car held up and came home in one piece.

I also beat an R package car
and ran door to door with another that edge me out up top. Not bad for a RWD fbody on mild boost.
Once I have my fuel system lined out Tiago and I will turn up the boost on my car and let it eat...
For those that don't know because they haven't competed in the event and are just sitting behind their computers bench racing. The MPH will vary from race to race depending on when the drivers are lined up. An extra 200 to 300 feet of acceleration is possible if both cars are lined up evenly. The mph doesn't decide the winner, whoever crosses the line first is the winner.
Pics of the finish line for the naysayers...

I didnt even read this thread because of all the pages but wanted to answer the question. YES, they can be beat.
Not making excuses because they did drag our *** at TK this year but we never should have ran them. We were having fuel pump issues and the proefi kept hitting the fuel cut because of pressure drop so the boost was turned down and NO nitrous. AGAIN, not making excuses for that day because we did loose and major props to them for having a FAST car, but the lambos can be beaten. I even think it lost to a porsche this past weekend.

Turns out on the race with the Lambo I had about a 1 car lead at the start.... but it was still a pretty good run!
Neither me or the Lambo Owner noticed until reviewing the vids lol.

Tiago, yeah some of the runs were a little off on the line ups. It happened to me both ways or simularly. I think the angle where the light guys are at must be a little hard for them to tell until we are right there. No complaints though as it was a great event! Just an observation etc...
