Beating those 1500AWHP URG Gallardos

I read the first 10 pages....lol
Then skipped to the end.
I don't have the street cred or experience as half the people that have already posted but I was wondering if someone could answer my question.
Why is no one using a 4WD set up from a truck? I know there are guys with turbo trucks launching from 4wd. Can this be converted to work with a car?
Granted it wouldn't be nearly as street able or nice as the Lamborghini but seems like it could be done.

I also beat an R package car
and ran door to door with another that edge me out up top. Not bad for a RWD fbody on mild boost.
Once I have my fuel system lined out Tiago and I will turn up the boost on my car and let it eat...
For those that don't know because they haven't competed in the event and are just sitting behind their computers bench racing. The MPH will vary from race to race depending on when the drivers are lined up. An extra 200 to 300 feet of acceleration is possible if both cars are lined up evenly. The mph doesn't decide the winner, whoever crosses the line first is the winner.
Pics of the finish line for the naysayers...

If the gray one is yours kudos to you for driving it.
Thanks. We just got the car running before 2k13 so not much is dialed in but it ran good for the seat time I had for this new setup.

Which Lambo is yours? BTW my car never made over 1200 on the setting it was at during either of the races with the Lambos.

Yes, gray one is mine.

Yeah I been wondering why no one has done this.
Maybe people have thought about it and it's impossible....maybe I'm just missing something.
I think I will try to do this on my current build. I am more interested in fabrication than anything else.
Borg Warner also makes a 35:65 split transfer case for the T-56 6 speed tranny.

Then all you need is a front diff/shafts/hubs etc, and you now have a strong 4wd setup.

Yea, Ive seen a bit of it.
I guess it could be feasible. Not practical for a live axle car, would need to be an IRS rear though.
It would make for a very long shaft from rear to front though so would either need to be large diameter carbon fibre or multiple pieces in order to achieve usable critical speeds.
Cost wise it's always going to be expensive. An older R34 Skyline setup and OSG gearbox might be an option. It will handle maybe 1200hp or so, but wouldnt place any bets on it holding say 2k unless it was an incredibly light car.
That's the hardest thing about any 4wd build. It's a piece of **** to build a strong 2wd drivetrain. It's a LOT more difficult to achieve the same with 4wd.

Yeah I didn't think about that. Prob best best is to just mount it directly to trans and run custom driveshafts. Prob jack some components from a Cadillac STS for the front.
Yeah I don't have deep enough pockets to do 4wd and make it handle the kind of power to beat these lambos. But it would be cool just to see it done.
