I have been reading up on the F1D, it seems to be just between the D1SC and F1A. There is a G8 on here that made 730+rwhp with a F1D at 15lbs of boost, thru a 6L80. I might consider the F1D but I have to do a little more research. I know it is made to make more torque at lower rpms. The price is not the issue, I just dont want any lag or a blower that is so big I only run the biggest pulley sold and never spin it high enough to make it shine.

I have been calling around and the F1D is really looking like a good choice. It can make more power than the D1, and it makes torque quicker. I know it can do 750+ and would run better at low boost because it is suppose too come in quicker. I might consider that, I am not looking to make a 1000rwhp.

I don't want a 8 sec car, I have been reading your thread about being slow, I wouldn't really say 13.01 is running strong, my heads and cam car runs 11.6 on motor, if my car doesn't go mid tens with a procharger, something is really wrong, I am not trying to be a jerk, but I am wanting input from people with experiences with my kind of setup.

if you ever plan on going further...the f1A is prime choice.

My car is already a mid 10sec car, I would like to stay in the tens once I swap from nitrous too a procharger. But I really want is a 9 sec street car with blower and built motor when everthing is done. I will probably just go ahead and step up to the F series. But it won't be a dyno queen, I am more concerned about track times than dyno numbers.

But I am really just waiting on ARP's slow *** to finish my stainless 12pt engine bolt kit. I called today raising hell because its been over a week. they should have had that **** to me by now. holding my build all kinds of up. thanks for asking man. if you wait long enough i will sell the f1-a to you. Its hand polished my man. but itll prob be after holley ls fest this year before I get rid of it.

Oh ok I will be awaiting to see what you have going on, with the F1A aren't you are shooting for 900+. I am just looking for a really fun street car that can go to the track and bust a high 9 sec pass. I know a F1A can do that easy but I am interested in the F1D because they say it builds boost faster.

Take a look at the above dyno graph. This was with an F-1A at only 12.4 psi of boost. It is making torque down low, about 400 ft lbs at 2000 rpm! Up top it is making 864 rwhp at only 12.4 psi! Bob

Bob, what kind of motor in the CTS-V you posted? Im having the same problem deciding on a blower as well. Ive bought all my turbo stuff and decided not to do it, now im debating on what blower for a 382 cube LS3. I had settled on the D1 and now im having second thoughts... again.
EDIT: DUH! nevermind, I see it now....
