So bob if I am reading those specs correct, the F1A will make more peak hp, but the F1D will make more tq and power in the meat of the band 3600-5400 rpms? correct me if I am wrong..

I definitely like that the F1D can make more power in the midrange. It might be few months before I buy a kit, but it is between the F1A and F1D now. I will keep doing research and hopefully make a good decision soon. Thanks for the help Bob

The F1D won't make the peak HP #'s that the F1A makes but it is much more responsive in the low and mid range. For a "street" car I prefer the F1D over the F1A.
Now, compared to a D1SC, the F1D will run circles around it at every RPM.

I am considering going to the F series of prochargers over the D1SC, now but I have been looking into T6 turbo kits also but I really think the procharger is more what I am leaning towards. I don't really want to do the standup radiator unless I have too. How do the prochargers and turbos compare. Advantages and disadvantages of each, I know it is a loaded question, but wondering why people choose one over the other.

You might wanna stand the radiator up anyway with an F1D so you run a custom intake hat and pull as much air as possible. even with a D1, you have to pry a truck inlet hat on because it hits the fan guard. I used to have a D1, i sold it and went twin turbo... I think you could get the most with a huron speed T4 kit, with a 78/75 or 76/75 turbo. itll make 750rwhp all day long and make more torque and power under the curve. Throw a boost controller on it and make whatever power your feeling that day.. thats my opinion.
btw, you dont need a big T6 to make 750.

I have thought of doing a T4 but just like the D1SC, I don't really want to limit myself with a small turbo or a blower. I don't want to run into a backpressure issue with a small turbo eventually I want to step up to a 370-408ci. I don't think I would want to go over 750 who but you never know.

You wont have to do anything with the F1-A as far as the radiator goes. The C and R you may. Josepy bent the corner of his rad to get his C in when he had it. I already did mine to accommodate for a bigger blower in the future, as well as clean up the bay, and its not all that bad if you get it boxed in itll look good.
