Unreal. I have a speed inc TU1 cam, which I think is a comp. I might as well just scrap the whole damn thing at this point. From now on, nothing but budget crap parts. Thats what i get for buying name brand! But on a more serious note, i ran this cam all last season for about 6k miles and not a single hiccup. I have also been running Rotella, so according to that thread, they need a high zinc content oil. Nothing internally on the engine has been changed. There really isnt a HUGE amount of smoke. I just got plates on it today, if it clears up tomorrow, maybe i will take it for a ride and see what it does.

Did you pull the cam to take a peak at it or the lifters?

I just ordered a new cam and not sure what way I want to go yet...might find a close alternative

No, like i said, put the car away last October, unbolted old turbo kit, bolted on new turbo kit. Didn't touch a thing. When this motor takes a ****, i will certainly reevaluate my cam choice. All of these name brand companies apparently turning out **** is a real unpleasant development.

My car isn't running yet. I plan on starting it and checking for oil pressure/oil smoke. If it smokes I'll buy a restrictor for the turbo's. I only have a high volume oil pump, so I think that oil pressure should remain close to factory and I won't need a restrictor. But if both of yours are smoking I'd put a restrictor on them. Hope you figure it out.

I ran a Precision 6262 on my old boosted Cavy, that engine was also built and carried VERY high idle oil pressure. I had a similar light smoking issue at idle and ended up switching from a 4an feed to a 3an feed and it fixed my issues. Ran the car that way and pushed the turbo to 30+psi and never had any problems with it whatsoever. If you can I would swap to 3an feeds or like you said a restrictor with the same size diameter as a 3an line.

We have had that on may precision turbos including the twin 62/62s on our new vette. We installed a .030 restrictor on the vette and all leaking has been eliminated. We run 50PSI at idle and about 85 at 7000RPM and turn the turbos pretty hard for long pulls and have had no oiling issues with the restrictors. You need to run the restrictor AT THE TURBO. DO NOT put the restrictor at the front of the line or you will basically splash oil the turbo due to low volume in a large line.

Drove to the gas station yesterday and went out and actually boosted it today and i'm pretty sure the smoking has stopped. I will update when i know for sure. Like i said, when it was smoking, it was BARELY smoking.. so maybe as some have said it just needed to be driven/broken in. If it DOES need a restrictor, it doesn't need much of one.

If you do end up needing a restrictor I usually get all of my turbo fittings and whatnot from ATP Turbo. This is the exact restrictor I ran but I opened up the hole some... sorry can't remember the exact size

It looks like you have it worked out but if it comes back you can purchase the restrictors on ebay and from most of the turbo manufacturers. Ours are off of ebay and bolt to the oil inlet on the turbo with a -4 line out on it. Ours are .030" hole if i remember right.
